One of the newest additional to our arsenal is the GO LOCAL series - where we focus on trips that bring our the hidden secrets of Nepal, and allows travellers to experience Nepal like a local.

Here is what people are saying about these experiences:

Had really good time with all socialtours team.

Chef was such a great cook, taught me how to make my very first Mo:Mo.

It turned out good though, well of course, it was all chef efforts.

Many thanks to you all! Keep up the good work.

After enjoying Daal bhat so many times in my last 2 months in Nepal, it was great to finally learn how to make it myself. I look forward to re-creating this at the home in the future. The staff were fun and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere was great. The food was super tasty as well.

Pokhara & Brigand's Bend
Feb 2014

A huge ‘Thank You’ to Bipin and socialtours. Our travel, accommodation and excursions were exactly what we wanted. Everything was well planned and ran smoothly. Our local guide in Pokhara, Sundha, was always on time, with a smile on his face. He was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Our trip to Brigand’s Bend was beyond our dreams. A rural setting on a plateau overlooking the river. Dinner, breakfast and lunch were all prepared especially for us by the wonderfully helpful staff. We have never seen such beautifully presented meals, and that was surpassed by their taste.

So tranquil!

Sheila, USA

This was a lot fun! We saw a lot of traditional Nepali things and the guide was helpful at explaining knowing what we wanted!

We are planning another tour because; we enjoyed it so much.

Throw your own souvenir

For the fans of traditional crafts, countrysides, nostalgic houses, live museum scenes, This tour gave me all! The pottery village tour was informative, the local guide was gave excellent background stories of this traditional art industry in Thimi. It's a walk back  in time and as well as living museum. I'm very impressed by the pottery making and wisdom involved in its process details. The tour raises your curiosity of authentic Nepali life and you are tempted to find out further.

Lunch, delicious, delightful and organic taste, is another highlight, Surrounding view of Gamcha farm added further enjoyment to the meal hour .Its a vista point not to be missed ,

Over all a great day!!!!

Momo Making Class

June 2013

Very nice event, good insight into some Nepalese cooking. The dish we made was very tasty and the cook was competent in conveying the knowledge and cooking techniques. Also interesting shopping in local market and to cooking.
